Awesome Trail Clean Up!

Seattle Net Impact hosted its first trail improvement & maintenance event at Jackson Park Trail in collaboration with Seattle Parks & Recreation in June. The Jackson Park trail was a priority for the Seattle Parks & Recreation for maintenance as the park is in an equity zone and is used for connecting the community members to nearby amenities, transit, parks, and the golf course access.

Seattle Net Impacters got together on a sunny and warm day to expand the trailhead, level the trail head with gravel, pruning overgrown plants and planting new native plants. The Board is so grateful to the Seattle Parks & Recreation team who works tirelessly and enthusiastically to give us access to beautiful trails in the Seattle area, and we were thrilled to be able to do our bit! A big shout out to all our members who showed up and helped make this event a success! Check out our awesome before and after pictures!
