About the Event
As technology advances at lightning speed, changing capitalism faster than ever before, many businesses are able to utilize new advances to foster growth. But many other businesses don’t have the access or the skills to take advantage of advances like AI and cloud computing. Without the means to utilize new technology, some businesses will be left behind, furthering the economic divide already apparent today.
But through Microsoft’s TechSpark program, and others like it, community partnerships can increase access and provide the skills training needed to mend this economic fracture.
Join us on Thursday, May 13th for a fireside chat with Dennis Ellis, who leads Microsoft’s Data Center Community Development team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. During this chat, you’ll learn:
- The challenges of bringing rural communities access to technology and skills training.
- What it takes to build an equitable and sustainable community partnership.
- How the Microsoft TechSpark program has already made a positive impact in Wyoming.
