About the Event
Our next “Very Important Lunch Date” is coming up on Wednesday, May 12th at 12:15pm. We will be discussing Washington’s House Bill 1091. The state legislature was very busy in late April, and HB 1091 is one of two important climate bills to pass. This is not the first attempt to pass a clean fuel measure, however. It took three attempts, a changing landscape in the COVID era, and possibly some weight thrown in from the state’s largest employers, before it finally passed through the Senate. There is a lot to consider now that we join BC, Oregon, and California in passing such a measure.
Join us for a short, interactive 30 minutes (12:15 – 12:45pm) next Wednesday as we dig into this topic.
How it works:
- RSVP via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/152793382119
- We will send an email to all those who RSVP with a link to join us via Gather
